DOMO – art installation

Geodesic Dome Installation for the Projection of Bjork’s Utopia Music Video.

The chosen piece is Bjork’s music video «Utopia,» which speaks of approaching a utopian world, a more open world where nature and technological modernity unite through purity and an explosion of beauty.

The proposal is a structure made of wooden slats in a triangular shape, creating a «dome» form where white fabrics hang on the interior walls and connect with the floor, projecting the video clip at various angles. The top remains open.

Through the chosen piece (an immaterial piece), a connection with the space is created, inviting you to enter the «dome» as if you were entering the world of the music video.

The white color with fabrics conveys the purity mentioned in the music video, and the open top reveals this «world» open to the exterior, creating a relationship between the technological (the projection) and nature (the exposed wooden structure).
